Jami Cate (born 1986/87) is an American Republican politician and farmer serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives.
Cate is a fifth-generation Linn County farmer, and grew up on a multi-generation farm family north of Lebanon, Oregon.
[1][2] In 2020, after incumbent Sherrie Springer stepped down to run for the Linn County commission, Cate announced her candidacy for the Oregon House of Representatives' 17th district.
[5] In 2022, following redistricting, Cate was drawn into the 11th District, where she ran for re-election and defeated Mary Cooke in the November general election.
[6][7][8] Following the Standoff at Eagle Pass, Cate signed a letter in support of Texas Governor Greg Abbott's decision in the conflict.
