Jamieson Parker

Jamieson Kirkwood Parker (January 28, 1895 – December 8, 1939)[1] was an American government administrator and architect from Oregon, working primarily in Portland and Salem.

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1916, and began working as an architect in Portland shortly thereafter.

[1] In January 1934, he was appointed district officer for the survey of historic buildings in Oregon and Washington, on the recommendation of the U.S.

He was named FHA director for Oregon in June 1935 and served in that post until his death in 1939.

[1] Works include: Parker died at St. Vincent's Hospital, on December 8, 1939, after an illness lasting one month.
