Jane Keckley

Jane Keckley (September 10, 1876 – August 14, 1963)[1] was an American actress of the silent and sound film eras.

[2] Before she acted in films, Keckley performed in stock theater and in vaudeville.

[3] Keckley began her film career in one- and two-reel Westerns in 1911.

She would appear as a supporting actress in such films as: William Desmond Taylor's Huck and Tom (1918);[4] the 1936 version of Show Boat, starring Irene Dunne and Allan Jones;[5] and Magnificent Obsession (1935), starring Irene Dunne and Robert Taylor.

[6] She was under contract to Paramount in the late 1930s and early 1940s,[7] where she appeared in her final film, South of Santa Fe (1942), starring Roy Rogers.
