Janušava (or Jonušava, historically Polish: Januszewo, Januszów) is a village in Kėdainiai District Municipality, in Kaunas County, central Lithuania.
It is located by the western limits of the Kėdainiai city, nearby the Smilga and Klamputis rivers.
For a period between 1648 and 1795, it was de facto a distinct city with its own coat of arms and a seal.
[2] Under the Russian Empire, it was merged into Kėdainiai, except from the village area at the western end.
During the Soviet times, most of Janušava village was again merged into Kėdainiai, except from a small suburban area.
