Jharkil is a village and one of the 45 Union Councils (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.

Saggu, Jara, Khara, Chuhan, Aura, Bhutto, Harral, Balooch, Lohaar, Ghahi and Dhoda are major castes in the Union.

[citation needed] The education rate has increased since 2010, however there is no single college for either boys or girls in the Union Council.

Union Jharkil boasts a number of well-known local political, social, and academic figures.
