Jim Crafton

James Blair Crafton (October 23, 1924 – February 18, 2006) was an American football, basketball, and track and field coach, college athletics administrator, and educator.

[2] In 1952, Craft was hired as the head football coach at Arkansas State Teachers, succeeding Howard Montgomery.

[4] After three years at Arkansas State Teachers, Crafton went to the Principia School in Town and Country, Missouri as football and basketball coach.

In 1958, Crafton was appointed men's athletic director and head football coach at Principia College.

The Coach Crafton Athletic Center at Principia College was named in his honor.
