João Amorim (footballer, born July 1992)

João Filipe Amorim Gomes (born 26 July 1992), known as Amorim, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Liga Portugal 2 club Leixões.

He played 19 games in the Primeira Liga for Vitória S.C. and Belenenses but spent most of his career in LigaPro, making over 200 appearances in service of eight teams.

In January 2015, Amorim cancelled his contract and signed with second tier side Académico de Viseu F.C.

[4] He played just under half of their games as they won promotion as runners-up to Portimonense SC, and scored on the final day in a 3–0 home win against AD Fafe.
