João Pinto da Piedade

(Latin: Joannes de Abrantes a Pictate) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as Bishop of Macau (1604–1623).

[2] On 30 Aug 1604, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Clement VIII as Bishop of Macau.

[3][clarify] In 1615, he renounced his title[3] and left for Europe with fellow Dominican Antonio de Rosario [pt] replacing him as administrator (who was later appointed Bishop of Malacca).
