Joaquín Cordero (Spanish pronunciation: [xoaˈkiŋ koɾˈðeɾo]; August 16, 1922 – February 19, 2013)[1] was a Mexican actor of the cinema, theatre and telenovelas.
In the following years he studied in a seminary and even considered becoming a priest, but eventually he decided to pursue a law career.
After three years of law classes he decided to become an actor against his family's wishes.
[citation needed] According to his family, the actor died of heartbreak, facing a deep depression over the death of his beloved wife, Alma Guzmán, which occurred on July 18, 2012.
