Joe Pisapia (born July 25, 1968[1]) is an American record producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist,[2] who was formerly a part of the band Guster and k.d.
[3] Guster announced, in a letter to their fans,[4] that Pisapia would be amicably leaving their band to join k.d.
On March 19, 2015, he released his second solo album, Nightvision, along with three singles: "Burned Out," "Suitcase and Guitar," and "Wake My Heart."
The release of Nightvision coincided with an installment of an ongoing live performance series 'The Pisapia Love-In' in Nashville, Tennessee.
There is a podcast available chronicling the making of Ganging Up on the Sun available through iTunes or Guster's website titled "Joe's Place", as they produced the album in Pisapia's attic.
