Johan Tidemann Sverre (7 October 1867 – 6 June 1934) was a Norwegian military officer and sports official.
He was born in Fredrikstad as a son of Erik Olsen (1831–1918) and Josefine Andrea Nicolaysen (1839–1899),[1] and brother of Ole Sverre.
[1] He lived in Fredrikstad until 1887, when he moved to Kristiania to attend Aars og Voss School.
[1] He chaired the confederation of sports, the Norges Riksforbund for Idræt from 1914 to 1918,[3] having been vice president since 1912.
[4] Sverre was also admitted into the exclusive skiing-based social club SK Ull in 1896.
