John Edward Allen (9 June 1932 – 9 September 2015) was an Anglican priest in the 20th century.
[2] His father was Ronald Edward Taylor Allen, a canon and sometime Vicar of Edgbaston.
[2] He studied at University College, Oxford, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1956.
[4] For two years he trained at Westcott and additionally studied theology at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge.
[2] By 1968, he had completed his training and graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
