John Cole (South African cricketer)

John McGregor Cole (3 March 1933 – 25 May 2014) was a South African cricketer.

He played first-class cricket for Natal and Western Province between 1959 and 1967.

[1] An accurate right-arm medium-pace bowler, Cole formed a strong pace trio with Neil Adcock and Clive Halse when Natal won the Currie Cup in 1960–61.

[4] Cole had his best innings bowling figures three seasons later when he took 6 for 16 in Natal's victory over Western Province.
