John Ferguson (priest)

John Ferguson (died 22 April 1902) was an Anglican priest who served as Dean of Moray, Ross and Caithness 1886–1902.

Ferguson was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond and Aberdeen University, where he received an MA in 1848.

[2] In 1853 he was ordained as priest, and appointed Rector of Holy Trinity, Elgin, which he held for nearly 50 years.

[1] In 1886, he became Dean of the United Diocese of Moray, Ross, and Caithness,[4] a post he held until his death.
