John Foster (cricketer)

John Foster (born 2 November 1955) is a former English cricketer.

He was born in Oldham, Lancashire and educated at Hulme Grammar School and the University of Bradford.

[2] Foster made his debut for Shropshire in the 1980 Minor Counties Championship against Durham.

Foster played Minor counties cricket for Shropshire from 1980 to 1994, which included 105 Minor Counties Championship appearances[3] and 17 MCCA Knockout Trophy appearances.

[6] This score, which was one of 2 List A half centuries, came against Northamptonshire in the 1985 NatWest Trophy.
