John G. Price was born in Stark County, Ohio, and graduated from high school in Canton.
He became a letter carrier at an early age, and his patrons included William McKinley, later Governor and President.
There he attended night school at Georgetown University, and earned a law degree.
[1] In 1918, Price was elected Attorney General, and was re-elected in 1920, serving four years.
[2] Price died of a cerebral hemorrhage on November 23, 1930, at his home in Columbus.
