John Garvey (soccer)

John Garvey (born March 26, 1969, in Guilford, Connecticut) is a retired American soccer player.

He returned to the United States and signed with the Miami Freedom of the American Professional Soccer League.

[1] In 1992, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Blackhawks of the A-League,[2] and on November 7, 1992, he signed with the Milwaukee Wave of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) for the 1992–1993 winter indoor season.

[4] In June 1995, the Wings traded Garvey moved to the Tampa Bay Terror in exchange for Mike Britton.

[5] On February 6, 1996, the Los Angeles Galaxy selected him in the 4th round (34th overall) in the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft.
