John Insley Blair Larned (October 5, 1883 – December 3, 1955) was a suffragan bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, serving from 1929 to 1946.
He then studied at the Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity in 1911.
In 1916 he moved to Kingston, New York, to become rector of Saint John's Church.
[1] Larned was elected Suffragan Bishop of Long Island on November 14, 1928, in the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City, New York.
He was consecrated on February 11, 1929, by Presiding Bishop John Gardner Murray.
