John Minds

John Henry Minds (April 9, 1871 – December 31, 1963) was an American college football player and coach.

Minds served as the head football coach at the University of Minnesota in 1898, compiling a record of 4–5.

Minds was a later a lawyer and general solicitor for the United Gas Improvement Co.—now known as UGI Corporation.

He died on December 31, 1963, at his home in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia.
