John William Moses (born August 9, 1957) is an American former professional baseball player, coach, and manager.
As a player, he was listed at 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m) and 165 pounds (75 kg); he threw right-handed and was a switch hitter.
Born in Los Angeles,[1] Moses attended Western High School in Anaheim, California.
[4] Moses was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 16th round of the 1980 MLB draft,[1] and signed with the organization in late June 1980.
He remained with the Dodgers organization for 2009, as the hitting coach for their new Triple-A team, the Albuquerque Isotopes, a position he held until he was fired after the 2010 season.
