The Ven John Russell Walker , MA was an eminent [1] Anglican priest[2] in the last third of the 19th century.
[3] He was born in Bury on 18 June 1837[4] and educated at University College, Oxford.
[7] The following year he married Augusta Margaret Hornby of Poole Hall, Nantwich.
[10] In 1879 he became Archdeacon of Chichester,[11] dying in post [12] on 31 October 1887[13] after a short illness.
