John W. Brennan Jr. (born c. 1968) is a United States Army lieutenant general who has served as the deputy commander of United States Africa Command since April 2024.
He most recently served as director of operations of the United States Special Operations Command from October 2022 to July 2023,[1] commander of the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve from September 2021 to September 2022.
