General Sir Charles John Waters, GCB, CBE (2 September 1935 – 29 January 2025) was a British Army officer who served as Commander-in-Chief, Land Forces from 1990 to 1993.
Educated at Oundle School, Waters was commissioned into the Gloucestershire Regiment in February 1956.
[1] Finally he was made Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe from 1993 until 1994 when he retired.
