Johnny Boykins Rutledge, III (born January 4, 1977) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for five seasons in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1990s and 2000s.
Rutledge played college football for the Florida Gators, and was a member of a national championship team.
[4] Rutledge later returned to Gainesville after his NFL career was over, and graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in health and human performance in 2007.
The Arizona Cardinals selected Rutledge in the second round (fifty-first overall pick) in the 1999 NFL draft.
