Johnson Lane is a census-designated place (CDP) in the south side of the Carson City metropolitan area in Douglas County, Nevada, United States.
[4] As of the census[7] of 2000, there were 4,837 people, 1,786 households, and 1,496 families residing in the CDP.
The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.29% White, 0.12% African American, 0.76% Native American, 0.91% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 0.64% from other races, and 2.19% from two or more races.
There were 1,786 households, out of which 33.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.1% were married couples living together, 5.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.2% were non-families.
11.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
