[3] Jordan Town Hall was built in 1877 by Thomas Ferguson, a Scottish immigrant stonemason.

There were 155 housing units at an average density of 4.3 per square mile (1.7/km2).

The racial makeup of the township was 96.60% White, 1.70% African American, and 1.70% from two or more races.

15.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
