José Cifuentes

Cifuentes began his club career in Ecuadorian football with Universidad Católica and América de Quito.

[3] In January 2020, Cifuentes joined Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC on a four-year contract, for a reported transfer fee of $3 million.

[4] He helped LAFC win the Supporters' Shield and MLS Cup double in the 2022 season, and reach the final of the 2023 CONCACAF Champions League.

[7] He made his Rangers debut on 9 August, during a UEFA Champions League qualifying match against Swiss side Servette.

[12] Cifuentes was called up to the senior Ecuador national team for the first time for friendlies against Peru and Bolivia in September 2019.
