José Domínguez (baseball)

He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Tampa Bay Rays, and San Diego Padres.

Domínguez was suspended again, for violating the minor league drug policy in November 2012, receiving a 25-game suspension.

Domínguez was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays on November 20, 2014 (along with Greg Harris) for Joel Peralta and Adam Liberatore.

[7] On December 23, 2015, Domínguez signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres.

[9] On November 4, 2016, Domínguez signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants.

On April 16, 2019, Domínguez signed with the Algodoneros de Unión Laguna of the Mexican League.

On April 19, during a game against the Guerreros de Oaxaca, umpires detected a foreign substance on his left arm, which appeared to be pine tar.

Domínguez did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the Mexican League season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
