The Justice and Respect in Europe for All Party (Romanian: Partidul Dreptate și Respect în Europa pentru Toți), often shortened to DREPT, is a Romanian parliamentary political party that ideologically follows Romanian nationalism[1][2] and an anti-corruption discourse.
[3][4] The party is represented in the public space by Vlad Gheorghe, a former independent MEP, and aims to be an electoral platform for independent candidates and small anti-system parties.
[5][6] Starting from 2 September 2024, the party has representation in the Romanian Parliament, initially having 10 deputies, 5 of which have been expelled from the party because of their association with the establishment parties.
[7][8][9][10][11] The migration of the 10 deputies from different parties with various ideologies to the DREPT Party on 2 September 2024 was treated with suspicion in the Romanian press.
[12][13] According to unofficial sources, the DREPT Party will support[needs update] Mircea Geoană in the 2024 presidential elections, and after the DREPT Party became the parliamentary party, the party will be able to send observers to voting stations.
