[2] The film follows 18-year-old Vera Brandes as she defies her conservative parents to organize a 1975 concert by Keith Jarrett in Cologne.
Despite near failure, the impromptu performance's recording becomes the iconic Köln Concert, a landmark of 20th-century music.
It is directed by Ido Fluk [de], in which Vera Brandes is played by Mala Emde, Keith Jarrett by John Magaro and Manfred Eicher by Alexander Scheer.
It had its world premiere on 16 February 2025, as part of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, in the Berlinale Special Gala.
[4][5] It will be released on 13 March 2025 theatrically in Germany by Alamode Filmdistribution,[6] and in Switzerland by Polyfilm.
