Kōsei Station

Kōsei Station (甲西駅, Kōsei-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Konan, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West).

Kōsei Station is served by the Kusatsu Line, and is 24.3 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Tsuge.

The station consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track, with an elevated station building.

The station became part of the West Japan Railway Company on April 1, 1987 due to the privatization and dissolution of the JNR.
