K. C. Akshay

[1] Trained at the KCA academy in Thiruvananthapuram from the age of 16, he has represented Kerala in different age-limit levels.

[3] He made his first-class debut for Kerala in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2017[4] after being called up to the squad after Akshay Chandran was sent for remodeling of bowling action.

[2][5] He took another 9 wicket haul in the same season against Vidarbha in a losing cause on the quarter-final of the tournament.

[2][6] The bowling effort of the spin-trio including him, debutant Sijomon Joseph and veteran Jalaj Saxena was fundamental in Kerala's first ever quarter-final entry in the season.

[8] He made his List A debut for Kerala in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 7 February 2018.
