Beginning in the 1980s, the station had a Top 40/CHR format known as "Stereo 93", later known as “Power 93 KTMT” and then later “Beat 93” in the 1990s until 2005.
On April 1, 2005, KTMT-FM dropped its longtime Top 40 format to jump on the adult hits bandwagon as "93.7 Mike FM".
On July 14, 2021, at 12 noon, 5 days after launching "Hits 93.3" on translator K227AA and KCMX-HD3, KTMT-FM became "Joy!
