Kaarlo Könönen (December 12, 1892 Hamina – August 2, 1965 Lahti) was a Finnish architect.
[1] To Kotkansaari he designed several apartment buildings representing 1920s classicism.
[1] From 1925 to 1929, Könönen worked in private architectural firms, one of those was Eliel Saarinen's office in Hvitträsk.
[1] Könönen worked as a city architect in Lahti from 1929 to 1955.
His well-known works include Lahti bus station (1939),[2] the extension of Lahti Town Hall (1934),[3] the residential areas of Vesterås and Tapanila and the Heinola Water Tower (1951).
