Kahaluʻu (/ˌkɑːhəˈluːʔuː/; Hawaiian pronunciation: [ˈkɐhɐˈluʔu]) is a residential community and census-designated place (CDP) in the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, in the District of Koolaupoko on the island of Oahu.

Kahaluʻu is a mostly rural area transforming into a denser residential community.

13.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 7.4% of families and 7.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 6.7% of those under the age of 18 and 3.0% of those 65 and older.

Hawaii Department of Education operates Kahaluʻu Elementary School.
