Kalinagar, North 24 Parganas

Kalinagar is a village and a gram panchayat in the Sandeshkhali I CD block in the Basirhat subdivision of the North 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India.

The tip of the Sundarbans National Park is visible in the lower part of the map (shown in green but not marked).

According to the 2011 Census of India, Kalinagar had a total population of 8,679, of which 4,393 (51%) were males and 4,286 (49%) were females.

The CD block headquarters are also located at Nazat, which is across the Betni River.
