Kamenokō Station

Kamenokō Station (亀甲駅, Kamenokō-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the town of Misaki, Kume District, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).

The station consists of two opposed ground-level side platforms connected by a footbridge.

In addition to the waiting room, there are restaurants and a library in the station building.

With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company The current station building was completed in 1995.
