[4] The Washington Football Team selected Curl in the seventh round (216th overall) of the 2020 NFL draft.

[8] Curl took over as the starting strong safety after Landon Collins suffered a season-ending injury in Week 8.

[9] The following week against the New York Giants, Curl led the team with 11 tackles and recorded his first career sack.

[10] He recorded his first career interception in a Week 14 game against the San Francisco 49ers, which he also returned 76 yards for a touchdown.
