The Kanakarayan Aru is a river in Northern Province, Sri Lanka.
The river rises in eastern Vavuniya District, near Omanthai, and flows north through Vavuniya District, Mullaitivu District and Kilinochchi District.
It empties into the Chundikkulam Lagoon.
