Karabash (Russian: Карабаш; Tatar: Карабаш) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Bugulminsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, located at the confluence of the Zay and Stepnoy Zay Rivers, 27 kilometers (17 mi) northwest of Bugulma, the administrative center of the district.
