Karaginsky Island

Karaginsky Island is a Ramsar site.

Migrant reindeer herders still live in temporary shelters on the island.

Karaginsky Island is covered with tundra vegetation and cedar underwood.

Administratively, Karaginskiy Island belongs to the Kamchatka Krai of the Russian Federation.
