Karl-Gustav Lagerfelt

Baron Israël Karl-Gustav "K-G" Eugène Lagerfelt (21 November 1909 – 11 December 1986) was a Swedish diplomat.

[1] He received a Candidate of Law degree in 1932 and a Bachelor of Arts in 1935 before becoming an attaché at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm in 1935.

Lagerfelt was diplomatic representative in Japan in 1951 and envoy in Tokyo from 1952 to 1956[1] during the time of the case of Sweden v. Yamaguchi.

He was ambassador and head of Sweden's Permanent Delegation of the International Organizations in Geneva from 1972 to 1975 and was chairman of the council of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development from 1976 to 1977.

[2] Lagerfelt was the owner of the mansion Säbylund in Kumla Municipality until his son Johan bought the property in 1970.
