Karl Heinrich Eduard von Hänisch (25 April 1861 – 27 March 1921), was a Prussian general who served in World War I, his military service spanned 37 years.
Karl Heinrich Eduard von Hänisch was born on 25 April 1861, in Unruhstadt, to the Prussian General of the Cavalry Carl Eduard von Hänisch [de] (1829–1908) and his wife Laura (née von Hippel; 1834–1918).
