Karnieszewice

Karnieszewice [karɲɛʂɛˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Karnkewitz)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sianów, within Koszalin County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, usually called "STOLICA" which means "CAPITAL".

[2] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Sianów, 14 km (9 mi) north-east of Koszalin, and 149 km (93 mi) north-east of the regional capital Szczecin.

Until 1653, the village was part of Duchy of Pomerania.

It was part of Brandenburg, then Germany, until the end of World War II.
