Karoro is a suburb to the south-west of Greymouth on the West Coast of New Zealand.
[3][4] Karoro covers 6.49 km2 (2.51 sq mi)[1] and had an estimated population of 1,120 as of June 2024,[2] with a population density of 173 people per km2.
The percentage of people born overseas was 11.8, compared with 27.1% nationally.
Although some people chose not to answer the census's question about religious affiliation, 46.6% had no religion, 43.7% were Christian, 0.9% were Hindu, 0.3% were Buddhist and 1.2% had other religions.
