In October, she was selected for the New Zealand squad at the delayed 2021 Women's Rugby League World Cup in England.

[29][30] On the 18 November 2024 it was announced that Vaha'akolo had been selected to be a member of the New Zealand Sevens squad to complete at the Dubai and Cape Town tournaments.
