Kaukritya

Kaukritya (Sanskrit; Pali: kukkucca; Tibetan phonetic: gyöpa) is a Buddhist term that is translated as "regret", "worry", etc.

In the Theravada tradition, kukkucca is defined as worry or remorse after having done wrong; it has the characteristic of regret.
