Kawano Station (河曲駅, Kawano-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Suzuka, Mie Prefecture, Japan, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Tōkai).
The station consists of two opposed side platforms, connected by a level crossing.
Kawano Station began as the Kida Signal (木田信号場, Kida Shingosho) on July 1, 1928, and was upgraded to a full station on the Kansai Main Line of the Japanese Government Railways (JGR) on March 1, 1949.
The JGR became the Japan National Railways (JNR) after World War II.
The station was absorbed into the JR Central network upon the privatization of the JNR on April 1, 1987.
