Kayalar (Kurdish: Barlatê; Syriac: Barlat) is a village in the Gercüş District of Batman Province in Turkey.

[1][3] Barlat (today called Kayalar) was historically inhabited by Syriac Orthodox Assyrians.

[4] In 1915, there were ten Syriac Orthodox families.

[5] Amidst the Sayfo, some Assyrians were killed whilst some survived.

[6] By 1987, there were no remaining Assyrians at Barlat.
