Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh

Seyyed Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh (born 1945) is an Iranian engineer who served as oil minister from 2005 to 2007.

However, Hamaned was nominated as oil minister only after the first three nominees of Ahmedinejad failed to secure backing from the Majlis.

[2][3] Hamaneh was appointed oil minister on 11 December 2007 with the approval of the Majlis.

[5] Then Hamaneh was named as an advisor to President Ahmedinejad on oil and gas affairs.
